The community celebrated the life of Marlene Tebo today. Marlene was a faithful Soroptimist and very active in many civic projects in Carlton. This rose was planted in Carlton by Soroptimist of McMinnville in her memory.
Trip to Fiji
Below are photos sent by Sue Kinion and her granddaughter, Ashley, who just returned after a successful journey to Fiji to distribute the feminine hygiene kits that she and her family made. The significance of her project is that girls can now attend school while they are experiencing their periods. Without the kits, the girls have to stay home.
