Imagine Life Without Violence

Our Imagine Life Without Violence Committee works on projects to help stop violence against women. We have conducted several Trafficking Awareness Workshops designed to educate the public on the problem of trafficking.

In 2022, we partnered with Henderson House, our local
advocacy center for victims of domestic and sexual violence, including trafficking and rape. We provided furniture for a Children's Play Area in the Safe House, and assembled supply Kits for women staying in motels (an alternative to the safe house when it is too crowded).

In 2024 are focusing on prevention efforts aimed at high school aged women.
We are cosponsoring the STUDENT SAFETY SUMMIT at McMinnville High School on March 6,
6:00-8:00. Our Session will focus on the connection between social media and sex trafficking .
Other sessions include drugs, gangs, mental health, and much more. Sessions are for parents to learn about the issues and how to help their kids stay safe.
